Job summary

Anne Arundel County Public Schools seeks a Coordinator for Integrated Math Elementary to lead countywide curriculum implementation for grades 1–5. You will coordinate, supervise, and evaluate the math programs to enhance teaching and learning across schools.

The role requires advanced expertise in curriculum development, instructional leadership, and data-informed decision making, with collaboration across district offices and a focus on equity and standards-aligned instruction.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in education, mathematics preferred.
• Five years of successful teaching experience.
• Hold or be eligible for Supervisor of Instruction licensure (MSDE).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver professional development.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements a multi-year strategic plan for elementary integrated mathematics.
• Supervises staff, screens applicants, and collaborates on staffing decisions.
• Collaborates with administration to observe classrooms and integrate curriculum with engaging resources.
• Analyzes district data to align instruction and assessments.
• Manages grants, budgets, and reports for state/federal programs.
• Develops standards-aligned curricula and assessments with Universal Design for Learning.
• Leads professional development to build capacity among staff.
• Coordinates programs with multiple stakeholders and acts as liaison with district/state/national stakeholders.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
