PowerSchool is seeking an Elementary Classroom Assistant to provide instructional support to students under the direct supervision of a certified teacher. You will assist in preparing, conducting, and managing classroom activities, while helping maintain routines and supporting classroom management.

The role involves assisting with materials, displays, and administrative records, plus support for extracurricular activities; requires teamwork and reliability in a school setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain valid Texas educational aide certificate upon hire.
• Formal academic assessment, associate’s degree, or two years of study preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to students under the direct supervision of a certified teacher.
• Assist in preparation, conducting, and management of classroom activities.
• Maintain structured classroom routines and assist with testing and assignments.
• Inventory, care and maintenance of equipment; assist with materials and displays.
• Support behavior management programs emphasizing positive reinforcement.
• Assist with extracurricular activities and events.
• Keep administrative records and prepare required reports.
