Job summary

West Noble School Corporation is seeking a dedicated Classroom Instructional Assistant to support teachers and students in grades 2–4 at West Noble Elementary School. You will deliver targeted academic support, assist with small group interventions, and help create a positive learning environment.

Ideal candidates have experience with elementary-aged children, strong communication, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Experience with elementary-aged children preferred.
• Patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to supporting classroom needs.
• Ability to pass required state and district background checks.
• Must be Highly Qualified or able to complete necessary training within the first year (ParaPathways Exams).

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support in reading, math, and writing under supervision of licensed teachers.
• Reinforce classroom rules and assist with behavior management.
• Supervise students during transitions, recess, lunch, and dismissal.
• Prepare teaching materials and setup classroom technology.
• Assist teachers with progress monitoring and data collection.
• Provide accommodations for diverse learners and English language learners.
