Job summary

West Noble Elementary School is seeking a Classroom Instructional Assistant to support teachers and students in grades 2-4. Qualifications

• Must be Highly Qualified or able to complete necessary training within the first year.
• Experience with elementary-aged children in a school, tutoring, or childcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and young learners.
• Patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to supporting classroom needs.
• Ability to pass required state and district background checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized instruction and small group lessons in reading, math, and writing.
• Reinforce classroom rules and assist in maintaining a safe, inclusive space.
• Supervise students during transitions, recess, lunch, assemblies, and dismissal.
• Prepare teaching materials and organize learning centers.
• Assist teachers in monitoring student progress and recording observations.
• Provide tailored accommodations for diverse learners and language learners as directed.
