Job summary

This role may be assigned to classroom, lunchroom, library, before or after school programs, or office, with elementary duties including crossing guard and playground supervision.

THIS POSITION WILL BE WORKING IN THE DUAL LANGUAGE PROGRAM. ABILITY TO SPEAK SPANISH PREFERRED.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• AA degree or higher or two years of college (72 quarter credits) or qualifying ParaPro/Pearson tests.
• Criminal background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists teaching staff by completing instructional tasks and maintaining an orderly classroom.
• May be assigned to classroom, lunchroom, library, before or after school programs, or office.
• Elementary duties include crossing guard and playground supervision.
• May be assigned to an individual student or work with an entire classroom.
