ILTexas Katy K-8 is seeking an instructional assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. Under supervision of a certified teacher, you will support classroom activities, prepare materials, and help manage student learning in reading, writing, and math.

Candidates should have at least 48 college credits or an equivalent credential, or a high school diploma with ESSA-compliant assessment. Prior experience with children is preferred, and strong communication is essential.

Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Provide instruction to students under teacher direction; work with individuals or small groups.
• Assist in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Assist with administration and scoring of tests and assignments.
• Maintain a neat and orderly classroom.
• Help with inventory and maintenance of equipment.
• Help teacher keep administrative records and reports.
• Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers.
• Supervise students during the day (lunch, bus, playground).
• Notify teacher of any special needs or issues with students.
• Participate in staff development and faculty events.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
