Job summary

ILTexas North Richland Hills K-8 in North Richland Hills, TX is seeking an instructional aide for the 2026-2027 school year. Under the supervision of a certified teacher, you will provide instructional assistance, prepare materials, and assist in managing classroom activities.

Responsibilities include supporting instruction, small groups, and testing, while maintaining classroom organization and records. Candidates should have 48+ college credits or a high school diploma with ESSA assessment,

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students under the direction of teacher; work with individual students or small groups.
• Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Assist with administration and scoring of objective tests and assignments.
• Help maintain neat and orderly classroom and supplies.
• Assist with inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment.
• Help teacher keep administrative records and prepare required reports.
• Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers.
• Help supervise students during lunch, bus, and recess and report any concerns.
• Identify and communicate any special needs or problems of individual students.
• Participate in staff development programs to improve performance.
• Attend faculty meetings and school events as assigned.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Primary Purpose:

Provide instructional assistance to students under the direct supervision of a certified teacher. Assist in preparing, conducting, and managing of classroom activities.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• • 48+ Earned College Credits, Associates degree, Bachelors and/or Masters Degree at a U.S Department of Education recognized accredited institution of higher learning (Preferred)
• • OR High School Diploma if formal academic assessment is passed as required by Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• • Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics
• • Ability to work well with children

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Instructional Support

Additional Duties:

Salary Information: Compensation will be commensurate with a candidate’s experience and education level

• - No Degree/ HS Diploma : $17,340- $20,400
• - 48+College Credits/Associates Degree: $18,870-$21,930
• - Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree: $20,910-$23,970
