Position Title: Elementary Homeroom Teacher

Location: The Muraqaba School, Frisco, TX

Position Type: Full-Time | Academic Year 2026–2027

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Elementary Homeroom Teacher who serves as a Murabbi — a mentor and guide who cultivates the hearts and minds of students. The ideal candidate will deliver a rigorous academic curriculum while seamlessly integrating spiritual mindfulness and Prophetic character (adab) into all subjects, including Math, Science, and ELAR.

Key Responsibilities
  • Holistic Instruction: Deliver high-quality instruction in core subjects (ELAR, Math, Science, and Social Studies) rooted in an Islamic worldview.
  • Spiritual Integration: Weave themes of Tawhid and God-consciousness into academic lessons, helping students see the signs of Allah (swt) in the world around them.
  • Character Development: Implement behavior strategies based on Prophetic guidance, fostering self-regulation, accountability, and kindness.
  • Collaborative Planning: Work closely with the Qur’anic Arabic and Islamic Studies faculty to ensure curriculum alignment with the school vision.
  • Student Growth: Assess academic and spiritual progress, providing consistent feedback to parents and maintaining a nurturing classroom environment.
  • Community Contribution: Participate in school events, spiritual retreats, and professional development focused on Islamic pedagogy and Muraqaba principles.
