Job summary

GREEN Charter Schools seeks passionate educators to drive student achievement through creativity and innovation. Provide weekly instructional services either in person at a mutually agreed location or virtually, with instruction scheduled to meet student needs.

Responsibilities include planning lessons aligned to standards, collaborating with teachers, and adapting instruction for medical, academic, and developmental needs of students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• SC Special Education or Elementary Education teaching certification required.
• Ability to plan, prepare, and implement lessons aligned to grade-level standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly instructional services either in person at a mutually agreed location or virtually based on student needs.
• Deliver instruction equivalent to a minimum of 55 minutes per school day with schedule agreed upon by classroom teacher and family.
• Plan, prepare, and implement lessons aligned to grade-level standards and current curriculum.
• Collaborate regularly with the classroom teacher to ensure continuity of instruction, pacing, and expectations.
• Adapt instruction to meet medical, academic, and developmental needs of the student.
• Monitor student progress and provide updates to classroom teacher and school.
