• Must have NYS Certification in Early Childhood Education B-2.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of school organization, goals and objectives, curriculum, teaching techniques, current trends, research, and materials of instruction in field of specialization.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the teaching and learning process.
• Ability to infuse technology into curriculum.
• Skilled in tracking student progress toward achieving goals and communicating progress to parents regularly.
• Knowledge of various assessment tools (running records, etc.).
• Experience in differentiating instruction to meet students' needs and encouraging student growth and progress across content areas through small group instruction and targeted individual support.
• Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds who have diverse skills and needs.
• Desire to grow as part of a professional community by utilizing research-based tools and approaches to support varied means of instructional practice and delivery.
