Job summary

Sawyer Elementary is seeking Elementary General Education Associates for the 2026-2027 school year.

Under administrator supervision, assists teachers in the education of students, supports classroom activities, and maintains records. The role includes direct and indirect services to disabled students and collaboration with the special education teacher to foster a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic computer skills including Google Docs, internet searching, and email are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers under supervision with instruction and classroom management.
• Support students with assignments during independent work or workstation activities.
• Prepare and organize lesson materials with teachers.
• Maintain student records/daily documentation.
• Monitor and enforce classroom behavior and safety.
