Qualifications

• PA Instructional I or II certification active; HQT status required.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Special Education, Elementary or Core Subject Education.
• Safe Crisis Management or Safety Care certification required where applicable.
• Strong verbal and written language skills.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Special Education rules and regulations.
• Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform data collection, progress monitoring and assessments for IEP meetings.
• Participate in evaluation/reevaluation meetings per regulations.
• Lead or participate in IEP planning meetings to design instruction.
• Attend staff and team meetings and collaborate with CAIU and district personnel.
• Provide instruction using CAIU curricula and behavior supports.
• Maintain schedules, lesson plans and required records.
• Supervise paraprofessionals and coordinate schedules as needed.
• Ensure compliance with FERPA, HIPAA and CAIU policies.
