Job summary

Child Guidance Resource Centers seeks a Temporary Certified Special Education Teacher for an elementary emotional support private school in Delaware County. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, education or human services.
• Temporary Certified Special Education Teacher license/endorsement is required.
• Experience with IEP development and CER reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize assessment phase to develop therapeutic relationships with children.
• Develop IEPs for each child and attend ongoing reviews.
• Plan and facilitate weekly thematic units to meet IEP goals.
• Administer standardized testing when appropriate.
• Complete paperwork prior to IEP meetings and monitor progress.
• Develop and implement behavior modification programs in the classroom.
• Provide individual/group instruction to CGRC students.
• Attend multi-disciplinary team meetings to coordinate services.
