Qualifications

• PA Instructional I or II certification in Special Education, Early Childhood, Elementary Education, Blind/Visual Impairments, Academic Core Instructional Certifications, or Deaf and Hard of Hearing; must hold PA HQT status
• Bachelor's Degree in Education (per posting)
• Safe Crisis Management (SCM) or Safety Care certification to participate in restraints
• Strong verbal and written language skills
• Familiarity with Special Education rules and regulations
• Ability to build rapport with a wide variety of stakeholders
• Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook

Responsibilities

• Perform data collection, progress monitoring, and assessments for progress reports and IEP planning meetings.
• Participate in evaluation/reevaluation meetings following Federal and State Regulations.
• Lead or participate in IEP planning meetings to design specially designed instruction.
• Attend staff and team meetings as appropriate and comply with CAIU policies.
• Prepare and maintain schedules, lesson plans, and required documentation for supervisory submission.
• Supervise instructional paraprofessionals and related staff, manage classroom schedules and off-site experiences.
• Collaborate with CAIU, school districts, and agency personnel as needed.
• Maintain a safe, positive classroom environment that supports academic, social, and emotional development
