Job summary

Hmong College Prep Academy seeks an Elementary ELL Teacher to instruct English learners and support grade-level learning. The role focuses on presenting language domains—speaking, listening, writing, reading—and using varied instructional models to foster student growth.

The teacher will maintain accurate records in Schoology/Seesaw/PowerSchool, engage families, and participate in professional development to advance learning outcomes for at-risk students in a Title I charter setting.

Qualifications

• Current MN teaching license in English as a Second Language for grades K-12.
• BA or MA in ESL Education or equivalent experience considered.
• Strong classroom presentation and management skills.
• Knowledge of instructional technologies and diverse student needs.

Responsibilities

• Instruct English language learners within core curriculum and grade level(s).
• Maintain student records and prepare reports as prescribed by the school/ district.
• Engage families through calls, emails, conferences and events.
• Utilize differentiated instructional methods to support student growth.
• Participate in professional development and collaborative learning communities.
