Lynn Public Schools in Lynn, MA is seeking an Elementary ESL/ELD Specialist-Itinerant to support identified English learners across K-5. The role focuses on language development using WIDA standards and district ELD curricula, with collaboration across SEI/DL teams to ensure social and academic language growth.

The ideal candidate will hold MA DESE ESL PreK-6 licensure (SEI endorsement preferred) and bring experience with differentiated instruction and data-driven planning.

Formación

• Massachusetts DESE ESL PreK-6 licensure required.
• SEI Endorsement and additional content licensure encouraged.
• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Use WIDA standards and district ELD curriculum maps to plan and implement lessons with clear language objectives.
• Provide required ELD services to identified ELs/DLLs and maintain an up-to-date schedule of services in Ellevation (or other designated software)
• Develop and implement differentiated ELD lessons, incorporating research-based instructional practices for different learning styles and levels.
• Provide learning experiences for students from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
• Utilize data (ACCESS, formative assessments) to monitor language development and identify exit candidates.
• Assist in the administration of the ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 assessment.
• Use technology to support student learning in and out of the classroom.
• Participate in Student Study Team meetings for identified ELs/FELs/DLLs.
• Assess progress of students via report cards and progress reports.
• Plan and implement lessons aligned to district and school objectives; integrate instructional technology.
• Collaborate with colleagues, students, and families regularly.
• Enforce classroom rules to create a productive learning environment.
