Lynn Public Schools is seeking an ESL/ELD Teacher for a Dual Language School (K-5) to develop English language skills of identified ELs and DLLs. The role emphasizes WIDA-aligned instruction and collaboration with SEI/DL colleagues to advance social and academic language development.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid MA DESE ESL PreK-6 license, plus SEI endorsements. The district offers 180 teaching days and a comprehensive benefits package in Lynn, MA.

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts DESE ESL PreK-6 license.
• SEI Endorsement.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement differentiated ELD lessons using WIDA standards.
• Collaborate with SEI/DL teachers to support language development.
• Monitor student progress and administer ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 as required.
• Participate in Student Study Team meetings and collaborate with families.
• Utilize instructional technology to support students in and out of the classroom.
