Job summary

Study Smart is seeking qualified tutors to deliver ELA tutoring to students in grades 2–5. The role requires in-person presence and availability during/after school hours, with a completed 4-year degree. Bilingual Spanish is preferred and tutoring or teaching experience is highly valued.

You'll work with small and large groups, access class assignments, and collaborate with Study Smart’s Education team to implement effective learning strategies, while undergoing background checks as required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a completed 4-year degree.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
• Availability Mondays through Fridays from during/afterschool hours.
• In-person availability is required.
• Background check may include fingerprinting depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Tutors will have access to information about class assignments.
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff.
• Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students.
