Job summary

Study Smart seeks tutors to support Math and ELA for K-12 students in a primarily in-person setting in Missouri. Tutors will work with small and large groups and coordinate with the Education team to implement comprehensive learning strategies.

Must hold a completed 4-year degree and have experience with Special Education. Bilingual Spanish is optional, but preferred; background checks may be required. Availability Monday–Friday after school is needed.

Qualifications

• MUST hold a completed 4-year degree.
• MUST have experience with Special Education learning.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
• Seeking availability Mondays through Fridays from during/afterschool hours.
• In-person availability is required.
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff.
• Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students.
