Qualifications

• P-4 teacher certification required and Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Arkansas teaching certificate with required endorsements for the assigned subject/level or ability to obtain it.
• Applicants with out-of-state certificates must show reciprocity procedures per ADE.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with learning activities and experiences to support growth.
• Establish an orderly classroom and use assessments to inform instruction.
• Plan lessons aligned to district curriculum and state standards.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Use technology to strengthen teaching and learning and communicate with guardians.
• Supervise instructional assistants/volunteers and participate in professional development.
