Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Art Education required or equivalent.
• Current or eligible North Carolina Professional Educator's License in Art K-12.
• Experience in middle school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lessons that meet NC standards and curriculum.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and collaboration.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Assess student progress with formative and summative assessments; maintain records.
• Display student artwork in school and at community events.
• Manage classroom materials and maintain a safe, organized learning space.
• Incorporate technology to enhance learning and creativity.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate art across disciplines.
• Communicate with students, parents, and staff about progress and projects.
• Participate in faculty meetings and professional development.
