Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
• Certification: Valid Rhode Island Teaching certification or eligibility.
• Meets RI Right to Read Act Science of Reading Proficiency or Awareness requirements.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Implements high-quality curriculum materials and instructional activities that engage students.
• Identifies, selects, and modifies instructional resources for diverse learners.
• Creates a positive environment to promote active student engagement.
• Collaborates to develop, align and modify curriculum and assessments.
• Maintains effective record keeping procedures and data on student performance.
• Communicates regularly with families about student growth and performance.
