Job summary

Loudoun County Public Schools is seeking a part-time staff member to support Elementary Dual Language Immersion (DLI) programs by administering the VALLSS system for students.

The role involves one-on-one administration, maintaining testing security, and coordinating with teachers to prepare testing locations. Minimum education is a Bachelor's Degree with preferred three years of teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent.
• At least three years of full-time teaching experience preferred.
• Retired certified teacher with elementary school experience preferred.
• Strong English language proficiency (speaking, listening, reading, writing).
• Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and student accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Administer the VALLSS assessment one-on-one per guidelines.
• Ensure testing protocols are followed and environments are secure.
• Collaborate with staff to prepare materials and set up testing locations.
• Supervise students during testing and provide support as needed.
• Document and report testing irregularities or concerns.
• Complete and submit post-assessment documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality.
