Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; technical degree in general crafts or maintenance preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Completion of ACT WorkKeys.
• Ability to work effectively with many types of school personnel.
• Ability to be accountable for inventory and property management.
• Ability to use small office equipment and computers for data entry and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Supervises custodial staff performing cleaning and trash removal throughout the school.
• Generates and tracks work orders in SchoolDude; performs minor preventive maintenance.
• Inspects facilities and maintains inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Monitors fire and security systems and logs checks weekly.
• Acts as liaison between custodial staff, managers, and school administrators.
• Opens and secures building daily; coordinates after-hours access as needed.
