Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with classroom teachers and support staff to meet the academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs of students.
• Contribute to a positive, safe, and supportive elementary learning environment.
• Assist the lead teacher with small-group and individual instruction.
• Reinforce classroom lessons, activities, and learning objectives as directed by the teacher.
• Provide additional guidance and encouragement to students who need support.
• Assist students with daily routines, classroom procedures, and independent work.
• Communicate student needs, concerns, and progress observations to the classroom teacher.
• Support consistent implementation of classroom expectations and individual student plans, as applicable.
• Other duties as assigned.
