Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of two years working with children in instructional/educational setting
• Must complete and maintain Basic First Aid and CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Assists students with organization and completion of daily work
• Follows directions of classroom teachers to support instruction
• Assists with evaluating and testing students
• Works with small groups in various subjects
• Monitors student behavior in groups
• Monitors student safety and whereabouts
• Performs routine clerical duties (copying, typing, calls)
• Performs additional non-instructional duties (parent pickup, cafeteria, bus, hall, office, class coverage)
