Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in institutional or quantity cooking.
• Two years school food service experience; management desirable.
• Experience in training, supervising and evaluating food service personnel.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in ordering and storing foods and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a school cafeteria staff.
• Supervise food production and service to ensure meals are nutritionally adequate.
• Provide leadership in training cafeteria personnel and maintaining good relations.
• Plan and adjust staff schedules and budgets for the cafeteria.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, receiving, and payroll reporting.
