Responsibilities

• Build positive, trusting relationships with students and provide consistent behavioral support.
• Implement individualized behavior support plans developed by the educational team.
• Help students develop self-regulation, communication, problem-solving and social skills.
• Respond calmly to challenging behaviors while ensuring safety and dignity.
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, related service providers and administration.
• Collect and document behavioral data and provide feedback to monitor progress.
