Job summary

Aiken County Public Schools is seeking a Behavior Modification Room Aide to assist with implementing a behavior program for elementary students at North Aiken Elementary in Aiken, South Carolina. The role focuses on maintaining an orderly learning environment and supporting students under supervision.

The position requires high school completion with additional college credits or an associate degree; ParaPro passing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write at least high school level.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Meets Highly Qualified standards as defined by federal program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation of behavior program in elementary setting.
• Maintain orderly environment conducive to learning.
• Provide nurturing, supportive classroom climate to encourage student responsibility.
• Collaborate with administration, teachers, guidance staff and community resources.
• Follow IEP/504/BIP accommodations as indicated.
