Job summary

Tri-Town School Union is seeking a Behavior Specialist for Fuller Meadow Elementary School in Middleton, MA. The long-term substitute position runs Aug 31, 2026 through Mar 1, 2027, reporting to the Principal and Special Education team.

Responsibilities include developing BIPs, data collection, and collaboration with families and staff. You will conduct data analysis, support FBAs, model intervention strategies, and provide crisis interventions as needed, while maintaining clear communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Education or related area.
• Experience working with elementary age children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or social/emotional/ behavioral disabilities.
• Formal training in and practical knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis and intervention strategies, including social skills/ social thinking curriculum.
• Current/ active in-depth training/ certification in Crisis Prevention and Intervention Strategies.
• Good organization and communication skills; knowledge of Excel for data entry and graphing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write behavior intervention plans/ programs with data collection methods and provide strategies for staff/parents.
• Collect, record and analyze data across multiple data points; assist with FBAs.
• Model strategies and techniques for staff/parents in implementing BIPs and social skills activities.
• Record and analyze data to give feedback on interventions and discuss changes to BIPs.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed, including verbal processing and safe physical interventions when required.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and monitor social skills and behavior goals; prepare reports as needed.
