You will collaborate with teachers and the elementary principal, implement individualized behavior plans, monitor progress, and communicate with families to support student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, or related field.
• Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of behavior management systems and positive reinforcement techniques.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Warm, patient demeanor with a passion for helping children thrive.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing preventative behavior strategies that promote a positive school culture.
• Collaborating with teachers to create and monitor individualized behavior plans and charts.
• Coordinating planned breaks and regulation routines to help students remain focused and engaged.
• Providing consistent follow-through on consequences and reinforcement systems.
• Supporting teachers in data collection and analysis to track progress and adjust interventions.
• Modeling and teaching social-emotional and problem-solving skills to students.
• Partnering with the elementary principal to ensure a cohesive approach to behavioral interventions.
• Communicating effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators to support student success.
