Job summary

Paradise Valley Unified School District is seeking a Behavior Interventionist for Desert Cove Elementary School. Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of behavior support principles and strategies.
• Experience with Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans is desirable.
• Must be able to design and implement targeted behavior support for students.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate with staff to implement a comprehensive behavior support program.
• Work with identified students to increase academic performance through behavior improvement.
• Facilitate meetings with teachers and parents to develop and monitor intervention plans.
• Provide professional development to staff on positive behavioral supports.
• Monitor and report student behavior progress and adapt strategies as needed.
