Qualifications

• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials for district curriculum.
• Translates lesson plans into developmentally appropriate experiences.
• Maintains standards of pupil behavior for an effective learning atmosphere.
• Evaluates pupil growth and prepares progress reports.
• Identifies pupil needs and develops plans for IEPs.
• Communicates with parents through Schoology, newsletters, calls and emails.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with students, staff, administrators, parents, and community with multiple requests.
• Supports and communicates with other administrators and staff.
• Responds in emergency situations.
• Follows school district policies.
• May plan and coordinate paraprofessionals and volunteers.
• May input to goal-setting for paraprofessionals.
