Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Georgia teaching certificate in assigned field.
• Special Education General Curriculum or Adaptive Curriculum depending on assignment.
• Appropriate content area(s) and current license/certificates as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete designated follow-up procedures for students referred for special education services.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and annually review each student’s IEP.
• Work with parents in all aspects of their child’s educational program.
• Supervise paraprofessionals supporting students in various settings.
• Submit all required reports in a timely manner.
• Provide educational services per program guidelines and delivery model.
• Ensure compliance with due process protections and confidentiality.
