Paulding County School District is seeking an Elementary School Autism Teacher to collaborate with educators and staff to ensure all students receive the education they need. Qualifications

Georgia Teaching Certificate in assigned field per PSC requirements.
Special Education General Curriculum or Special Education Adaptive Curriculum for assignment.
Appropriate content area(s) as required.
Must possess and maintain valid license, certificate and/or credentials as required.

Responsibilities

Complete follow-up procedures for students referred to special education.
Develop, implement, monitor, and review IEPs for each eligible student on the caseload.
Collaborate with parents on their child’s educational program.
Supervise paraprofessionals supporting selected students.
Maintain required reports in a timely manner.
Deliver educational services per program guidelines and delivery model.
Ensure due process safeguards for students and parents.
Follow safety procedures and laws, district policies.
