Job summary

Kanawha County Public Schools in West Virginia seeks an ITIN Special Education Autism Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at Ruthlawn Elementary. The teacher will provide instruction to elementary students and align with WV Content Standards while collaborating with special education staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Plan and implement standards-based curriculum per WV Content Standards.
Implement adopted and supplemental academic programs.
Utilize 21st century technology skills in instruction.
Collaborate with special education students and teachers.
Plan and implement designated co-curricular activities and field trips.
Be accountable for individual student achievement.
Deliver personalized learning for all students.
Maintain effective communication with students, parents and peers.
Support school improvement initiatives as directed by the principal.
Maintain classroom control and perform duties as assigned.
