Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc is hiring energetic After-School Sports Coaches to work with elementary students in Basketball, Soccer, and Flag Football across Prince George's County. The role is part-time, after school, with sessions from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, typically 1.5 hours each.

Coaches follow a structured curriculum, receive curriculum and equipment provided, and gain hands-on experience in youth development, leadership, and classroom management while making a positive community impact.

Qualifications

• Experience playing or coaching Basketball, Soccer, or Flag Football is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working with children in grades K through 5.
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout Prince George's County.
• Must successfully complete the required Prince George's County Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process.

Responsibilities

• Coach elementary students in Basketball, Soccer, and Flag Football activities.
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and lesson plans.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
• Supervise groups of approximately 15 to 25 students.
• Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and participation.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership.
