Job summary

BBA Afterschool Inc. is seeking energetic After-School Sports Coaches to lead basketball, soccer and flag football for elementary students in Prince George's County, MD. Sessions run after school, 1.5 hours, with curriculum provided.

Part-time, seasonal roles with flexible hours Monday through Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. No lesson planning required; gain hands-on coaching experience and opportunities for advancement within BBA Afterschool.

Qualifications

• Experience playing or coaching Basketball, Soccer, or Flag Football is preferred but not required.
• Ideal candidates pursue majors such as Physical Education, Kinesiology, Sports Management, Recreation, Education, or Child Development.

Responsibilities

• Coach elementary students in Basketball, Soccer, and Flag Football activities.
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and lesson plans.
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.
• Supervise groups of approximately 15 to 25 students.
• Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and participation.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership.
