Job summary

The Roaring Fork School District is seeking an Affective Needs Teacher (Severe Needs) for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond. The teacher will support students with diverse needs across district schools and collaborate with teams to implement RFSD's instructional model.

Ideal candidates will have experience with English Language Learners, strong literacy and math instruction background, and a collaborative, coaching-oriented mindset. An instructional demonstration may be required for finalists.

Qualifications

• Elementary teaching experience.
• Experience with diverse learners including English Language Learners.
• Strong literacy and mathematics background.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to implement the RFSD instructional model.
• Participate in ongoing coaching cycles to improve practice.
• Build strong relationships with parents and students and colleagues.
