Job summary

DEWITT PUBLIC SCHOOLS seeks a paraprofessional to support reading and mathematics progress for K-5 students. You will collaborate with ERI staff and MTSS/Academic Specialists, providing one-on-one or small group instruction and aiding district initiatives.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, training in Medical/CPI/CPR/First Aid, and meeting paraprofessional qualifications, with preference for 2 years of elementary experience or relevant degree.

Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be trained or willing to train in Medical, CPI, CPR and First Aid.
• Must meet federal and state guidelines for paraprofessional qualifications.
• Must possess 2 years of experience with lower and upper elementary students or hold a degree in related field.
