Job summary

Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville, TN seeks a Server to provide food, beverage and hospitality across outlets. You will work with the dining team, using our POS system and Foodrunners to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Knowledge of menus, pairings and service styles is essential and a proactive, guest-first attitude is expected. Responsibilities include taking orders, serving, handling allergies, assisting with events, and maintaining spotless work areas.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent knowledge of menus, preparation methods, and service styles.
• Strong communication and teamwork within the dining team.

Responsibilities

• Provide menus and answer all questions, seeking answers if necessary.
• Take beverage orders and serve food in specified station.
• Pour and refill wine, coffee, water, and other beverages served with and after the meal.
• Ensure accurate account numbers and names for billing.
• Carry food to the table on trays and manage service flow with the team.
• Note allergies and communicate them to management and culinary team.
• Lead/service rhythm to meet member expectations and provide immediate attention to guests.
