Job summary

Eaton’s AER FMC Fuel Motion Control Systems division is seeking a 1st Shift Plating Operator at our Euclid, OH plant. The role is 1st shift, core hours 7am–3:30pm, Mon–Fri, with an hourly rate of $28.98. You will set up, operate, and monitor plating equipment, perform inspections, and maintain documentation to meet standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; or at least 4 years plating operations experience.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Euclid, Ohio; no relocation benefit.
• US export regulations require disclosure to qualified individuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate plating processes including anodize, chrome, nickel, acid etch, passivate, electroless nickel.
• Set up timers, temperature controllers, indicators, rectifier, volt meters, and related equipment.
• Complete fixturing/racking, masking and surface activation; manage cleaning and maintenance.
• Perform pre- and post-processing tasks such as degreasing, cleaning, baking, inspection.
• Load/unload shipments; move material using hand trucks and forklifts.
