Scripps Health in La Jolla, CA is seeking a per diem Pt Care Tech for the Scripps EP Lab. This role requires 10.25‑hour varied day shifts and occasional on‑call Saturday coverage about every 10 weeks, based on departmental needs.

Location: Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. The EP Lab at La Jolla leverages advanced cardiac mapping, ablation, and rhythm management technologies, with a focus on work‑life balance and patient‑centered care.

Qualifications

• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an EP Lab and/or Interventional Cath Lab required
• Ability to monitor or scrub advanced specialty procedures in an EP or Interventional Cath Lab
• Scrubbing and/or hemodynamic monitoring of advanced specialty procedures
• Teaching others these roles and procedures (e.g., TAVR, Mitral Clip, Lariat, Watchman, complex peripheral procedures)
• Capable of managing and prioritizing tasks during crises or high-stress situations
• Must be able to speak, read, and follow instructions in English
