Job summary

Asante is seeking an Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist to support arrhythmia procedures, including device implants and ablations. You will perform in the EP room, following established protocols and exercising professional judgment to ensure patient care.

The role requires extensive EP procedure experience, a Radiologic Technology degree (preferred), and required ACLS/BLS certifications, with OBMI radiography licensure and IBHRE/RCES/CEPS credentials as applicable.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in diagnostic/interventional cardiac electrophysiology.
• Experience must include diagnostic/interventional studies, advanced mapping/pacing, and device implants.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the EP room and assist with arrhythmia procedures.
• Support implantation, ablations, and electrophysiology studies per protocols.
• Utilize advanced 3D mapping and pacing systems during procedures.

Shift Differentials:

• $2.43 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $4.50 extra for working between 11:00pm - 7:00am
• $2.20 extra for working weekends

Position Summary

The Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist provides technical assistance for arrhythmia procedures, including implantation of arrhythmia control devices (pacemakers and defibrillators), electrophysiology studies, and arrhythmia ablations. Performs procedures in accordance with established protocols. Exercises professional judgment in performance of service. Provides patient care, working the majority of the time in the EP room.

Position Qualifications

Experience

• 2 years of current work experience in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac electrophysiology is require and experience must include diagnostic/interventional studies, advanced mapping/pacing, and device implants (pacemaker, ICD and CRT)
• The ideal candidate must be competent with advanced 3D mapping systems

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred

Certification/Licensure

• ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required upon start
• BLS: Basic Life Support from (AHA) American Heart Association is required upon start
• Licensed in Radiography by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) with a Subspecialty in Electrophysiology (RCES) (CCI) - OR - Licensed in Radiography by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) with additional Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS) from International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) is required
