Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA, is seeking an Electrophysiology Specialist for a full-time, day shift. The EP Specialist assists physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic EP procedures and device implants, provides patient care, and handles pertinent procedural information.

The role includes didactic and clinical training. Qualifications include RCES/RCIS certification or registry eligibility, BLS, ACLS within 90 days, and 1 year of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification
• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire
• 1 year of related experience preferred
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Graduate of cardiovascular technology program or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Full-time, day shift; no call; no weekends

Responsibilities

• Assist physician during diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology procedures and device implants
• Provide patient care and manage data related to procedures
• Provide didactic and clinical training
