Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking an Electrophysiology (EP) Specialist to join our team and support physicians during EP procedures and device implants. The role emphasizes patient care and teaching responsibilities within a high-acuity setting.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of related experience, a relevant cardiovascular technology background, and BLS/ACLS certification within 90 days. This is a full-time, day-position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent (required).
• Graduate of cardiovascular technology or Bachelor’s Level Degree highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic EP procedures and device implants.
• Provide patient care and document all pertinent information related to the procedure.
• Deliver didactic and clinical training to staff and students.
