Job summary

Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking an Electrophysiology Specialist to assist physicians during EP procedures and device implants. You will provide comprehensive patient care, manage data related to procedures, and contribute to didactic and clinical training within the EP team.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of EP experience, with a high school diploma required and cardiovascular technology or bachelor's degree preferred. BLS/ACLS are required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related experience in electrophysiology.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required within 90 days.
• High school graduate required; cardiovascular technology degree preferred.

Overview

The Electrophysiology (EP) Specialist assists the physician during diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology procedures and device implants. Provides patient care to all electrophysiology patients, including acquisition and reduction of all pertinent information related to their procedure. Also provides didactic and clinical training.

Education

High School Grad or Equivalent (required)

Graduate of cardiovascular technology or Bachelor's Level Degree is highly preferred

Certification/Licensure

BLS (Required within 90 days)

ACLS (Required within 90 days)

Experience

Minimum 1 year of related experience (required)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $38.66 - $62.82 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
