Boston Medical Center (BMC) seeks an Electrophysiology Registered Nurse to join the EP Lab care team. You will support perioperative services, assess patients, administer medications, monitor hemodynamics, and assist in device implant and invasive procedures.

The role emphasizes collaboration with nurses, physicians, and allied staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care. A MA RN license and BLS/ACLS as required by unit are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Massachusetts.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required in certain units.
• Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred); BSN within 4 years.
• Two years of RN experience in cardiology procedural areas or critical care.
• Prior EP experience strongly preferred; moderate sedation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative nursing care in the EP Lab and related units.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, evaluate, and educate patients.
• Communicate with health care team members and families.
• Coordinate and delegate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records and enter data in systems.
