Job summary

UP Health System - Marquette is seeking an Electrophysiology RN to join our Cath Lab team, providing specialized care for cardiovascular procedures, monitoring patients, charting, and supporting procedural sedation. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts.

Applicants should hold a Michigan RN license and an associate's degree; BLS-HCP and ACLS within 3 months are required. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license.
• Associate's degree from accredited nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• BLS-HCP certification required.
• ACLS within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and other medical care.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support.
• Educates patient/family based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
