Job summary

Navicent Health Medical Center - Electrophysiology is seeking a full-time team member for the EP lab to assist physicians with complex cardiac and vascular procedures. The role covers PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement, and EP device/ablation care, with on-site call coverage and a 7a-7p schedule.

Ideal candidates hold an allied health degree, demonstrate EKG/hemodynamics proficiency, and pursue RCIS/RCES/IBHRE certification within 24 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a health science program (including cardiovascular tech, ultrasound, radiologic tech, respiratory therapy or nursing).
• Competency in interpretation of EKG and hemodynamics is required.
• RCIS/RCES or IBHRE certification expected within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and arrhythmias in the CV/Cath/EP Lab.
• Support patients undergoing PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement and EP device/ablation procedures.
• With experience, mentor new staff and contribute advanced technical skills.
